DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN VANCOUVER
Arrive at Vancouver International Airport and make your way independently to your downtown hotel. Your Roadbook contains all the information you need for your Western Canada journey.
Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, relaxing after your flight or beginning your exploration of Vancouver’s vibrant downtown and beautiful waterfront.

DAY 2: EXPLORE VANCOUVER
Enjoy a full day discovering Vancouver, one of Canada’s most beautifully situated cities, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the Coast Mountains.
Explore the city at your own pace aboard a hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour, with convenient stops near Vancouver’s major attractions and neighborhoods. Discover Stanley Park and its famous seawall, explore historic Gastown, stroll along the waterfront or enjoy the shops, galleries and restaurants of downtown Vancouver.

DAY 3: VANCOUVER TO PENTICTON | 417 KM
Leave Vancouver and travel east through the Coast Mountains toward the sunny interior of British Columbia.
Drive through E.C. Manning Provincial Park, where mountain landscapes, forests and hiking trails offer excellent opportunities for scenic stops along the way.
Continue into the Okanagan Valley, one of British Columbia’s most celebrated wine and agricultural regions. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards and rolling hills, Penticton enjoys a beautiful setting between Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake.

DAY 4: PENTICTON TO REVELSTOKE | 260 KM
Spend the morning enjoying the Okanagan Valley, perhaps visiting a local winery, relaxing beside the lake or exploring Penticton.
Then continue north and east through British Columbia’s magnificent interior. The landscape gradually changes as vineyards and orchards give way to forests, lakes and increasingly dramatic mountain scenery.
Arrive in the Revelstoke area, surrounded by the spectacular landscapes of the Columbia Mountains.

DAY 5: REVELSTOKE TO BANFF | 283 KM
Today’s journey takes you through some of the most impressive mountain scenery in Western Canada.
Travel through Glacier National Park and cross historic Rogers Pass, surrounded by rugged peaks and glaciers. Continue into Alberta and arrive in Banff National Park, Canada’s oldest national park and part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Settle into the lively mountain town of Banff, your base for exploring the magnificent Canadian Rockies.

DAY 6: BANFF NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy a full day exploring the natural wonders of Banff National Park.
Visit Bow Falls, admire the historic Fairmont Banff Springs, or ride the Banff Gondola to Sulphur Mountain for panoramic views across the Bow Valley and surrounding Rocky Mountain peaks.
You may also enjoy a scenic cruise on Lake Minnewanka, explore one of the many hiking trails or simply spend time discovering the shops, restaurants and mountain atmosphere of Banff.

DAY 7: BANFF TO JASPER VIA THE ICEFIELDS PARKWAY | 288 KM
Today, experience one of the great highlights of your Canadian Rockies road trip, the legendary Icefields Parkway from Banff to Jasper.
This spectacular mountain highway passes turquoise lakes, glaciers, waterfalls and soaring peaks. Stop at beautiful Peyto Lake before continuing north toward the Columbia Icefield, one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle in Canada.
Continue through the magnificent landscapes of the Canadian Rockies to Jasper National Park.
Overnight in Jasper (Economy: Tonquin Inn or Lobstick Lodge / Deluxe: Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge or Forest Park Hotel).
DAY 8: JASPER NATIONAL PARK
Spend the day discovering the wilderness and mountain landscapes of Jasper National Park.
Explore scenic lakes, canyons and mountain viewpoints, or take the Jasper SkyTram for spectacular views across the surrounding Rockies. Another excellent option is an excursion to Maligne Lake, famous for its turquoise waters, dramatic mountain setting and iconic Spirit Island.
For a more active adventure, consider hiking, wildlife viewing or a rafting excursion on the Athabasca River.

DAY 9: JASPER TO CLEARWATER | 318 KM
Leave Jasper and travel west along the scenic Yellowhead Highway toward British Columbia.
Stop to admire Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, before continuing through mountain valleys and forests toward Clearwater.
Clearwater is the gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park, a vast wilderness renowned for its forests, rivers and spectacular waterfalls.

DAY 10: CLEARWATER TO WHISTLER | 425 KM
Continue your Western Canada road trip through the changing landscapes of British Columbia.
Travel through the Cariboo region before following the spectacular mountain route toward Duffey Lake and Whistler. This scenic drive reveals another side of British Columbia, with remote lakes, deep valleys, forests and dramatic mountain scenery.
Arrive in Whistler, one of North America’s most famous mountain resorts, located beside beautiful Garibaldi Provincial Park.

DAY 11: WHISTLER
Enjoy a full day to experience Whistler and the Coast Mountains at your own pace.
Outdoor enthusiasts can choose from hiking, cycling, golf and a variety of seasonal mountain activities. For unforgettable views, consider the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, connecting Whistler and Blackcomb mountains high above the valley.
Alternatively, relax and enjoy the pedestrian-friendly Whistler Village, with its restaurants, cafés, shops and lively mountain-resort atmosphere.

DAY 12: WHISTLER TO VANCOUVER | 121 KM
Enjoy a leisurely morning in Whistler before returning to Vancouver along the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway, one of British Columbia’s most scenic drives.
The route follows dramatic mountain and coastal landscapes, with opportunities for scenic stops along the way.
Arrive back in Vancouver and enjoy your final evening with some last-minute shopping, a waterfront walks or dinner at one of the city’s excellent restaurants.

DAY 13: DEPARTURE FROM VANCOUVER

Make your way to Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and check in for your departure flight, taking home unforgettable memories of Vancouver, the Okanagan Valley, Banff and Jasper National Parks, the Icefields Parkway, Wells Gray Provincial Park and Whistler.
